About the Artist
Hello there, I'm Love!
My love for makeup didn't come as early as you would suppose a makeup artist would. You may find it horrendous (or not), but I practically didn't wear makeup until I started working in the corporate world. I was very lucky to receive makeup as gifts from certain Titas during Christmas and birthdays. And so, even before my corporate life began I had amassed quite a makeup collection. Being a corporate noob, and because my Dad only drops me off to work, I would almost always arrive twenty minutes early for work, I had plenty of time to put my makeup collection to good use. ;-)
Happy times, indeed.
But, I guess you can say that my love for make was only taken up to a higher level in late 2013 - about a year into my married life. I was encouraged to find a hobby to take my mind off of stress from work, and my own wedding was the inspiration for finding that hobby. So, I thought what if I were to trade places with my wedding suppliers, whom would I trade places with? I narrowed it down to my top five booking milestones that I considered non-negotiable and uncompromisable at the time: 1. Church 2. Catering 3. Venue 4. Wedding Gown and Tuxedo 5. Hair and Makeup Artist. I figured that among these five, I was most likely to find balance from work and hobby (among other obvious reasons) by professionally learning makeup. And as they say, the rest is history.
